Endoscopic Examinations
 Within the healthcare industry, endoscopic examinations are used to view internal body organs by passing an instrument comprising a small tube with a camera on the end of it into the body. The device then produces any number of fixed images on-screen which are captured and attached to patient records. Part of this process is the tagging of pictures to the patient record which is often time consuming, manually intensive and often disruptive to the examination.

Q-Save
Qualitiva were asked to produce a solution to work with Endoscopic image capture equipment that could:
- Streamline the Endoscopic image capture process
- Reduce the effort to consolidate records
- Improve the overall productivity of Endoscopic examinations.
Having analysed the scope of requirements we produced a plug-in called Q-Save which simplifies the entire endoscopic process by utilising a screen capture mechanism (a press of a button) to allow operators to browse, select and save images by attaching them to the examination record. This plug-in was successfully installed on A major London teaching hospital’s existing endoscopy equipment and has been in productive use at the hospital for several years.
