Supply Chain Database – Oil & Gas Services Supplier
The Challenge
A supplier of Oil & Gas services and products was using a
number of legacy systems and a manual paper based system
to supplier services, products and line items to their
customers. They were finding it increasingly difficult to manage
demand and needed a more integrated supply chain database
to manage their services, production deliverables and stock
items used.
The Solution
We developed a database to manage their personnel
resources, services delivered and line items to feed their
supply chain delivery more efficiently. We provided them with a web interface so that their customers
could request support services and line items on line 24/7. The database integrated with their
procurement system and HR system and allowed the customer to track activities on all jobs being
undertaken, resources used and what stock items were needed on the jobs.
